issues with Power A Controller (Xbox)

Hello, Cyaxx8375. Thanks for reaching out. I'm Lucas, an Independent Advisor and Microsoft Xbox expert user.

Have your controller dropped on the floor or did you spill any liquid on it or anything at all hapenned just before it started with this problem?

Can you go to the Xbox Accessories app on your Xbox and create a new profile to map your controller there? This is a guide showing you step by step how to do it:

See if creating a new profile and mapping your controller again helps you.

Xbox controller disconnecting xbox one/windows 10

Many controller issues can be resolved by putting the controller through a complete power cycle.

To power cycle your controller: Press and hold the Xbox button for 5-10 seconds, until the controller turns off. Wait a few seconds, then press and hold the Xbox button again to try to turn the controller back on.

Then, check if it corrects the issue!

Xbox Controller not functioning correctly ##

If anyone runs into this issue, then do the following.

With the console powered on, remove the batteries completly from the xbox controller,

Hold down the power button the xbox until it powers down,

With the batteries still out of the controller, power the xbox up,

With the xbox powered up and on the home screen insert the batteries into the controller,

Now press and release the sync button on the console,

Now turn the controller on and immediately press and hold the sync button until the controller lights stops flashing. Your welcome.

    Controller Disconnect

Sorry to hear about your issue. Are these new controllers or did the issue start on controllers that were already synced to the Xbox?

    1. Sync or re-sync the controllers

    https://support.xbox.com/en-US/xbox-one/accessories/connect-a-wireless-controller

    2. Power cycle the Xbox. Press and hold the power button for 8-10 seconds until the Xbox turns off. Unplug the power cable for 1-2 minutes. Plug everything back in and restart.

    3. If the above do not fix the issue, try attaching the controllers directly to the Xbox with a USB cable and try syncing the controllers again. Repeat the power cycle.

Let us know if this works,

    Best wishes,

    Cowgirl
