    So I have a headset and a controller that I use separately normally but I want to use both my headset and controller but it is not working. If I have my controller connected I cannot talk but if I plug in my headset while my controller is not connected I can talk but I can not connect my controller.

    I have had 2 microsoft 360 mics now and in both the speaker went dead shortly after i starteduseing it, that is the last time i buy a microsoft mic. If it was a different problem than last time then it would have been me but it is the same thing. Next time
    im buying a different brand mic.

    Hey there bballcj!

    From what you're describing, it definitely sounds like an issue with the headset. Do you have access to another headset that you could try with your system? If so, that would be a good test to see where the issue may lie.

    Microphone send ugly noise all the time

    My mic usually has the same problem, but my Xbox Controller's mic port is causing the problem. Either the controller mic port could be their issue, the mic plug-in cord, or the mic in general. Feedback has also had issues with constant screeches.
