Error code 0x80246008 usually indicates that there is an issue with the Microsoft Store, which may be preventing the app from installing or updating.



To resolve this issue, you can try the following steps:

1. Check for updates: Make sure that your Xbox One is up to date with the latest system updates. To do this, go to Settings > System > Updates & downloads > Console update available.

2. Clear the cache: Clear the cache of your Xbox One by holding down the power button on the console for 10 seconds until it turns off. Then unplug the power cord from the back of the console and wait for 10 seconds before plugging it back in and turning the console back on.

3. Reinstall the app: Try reinstalling the Microsoft Rewards app by going to the Microsoft Store and searching for the app. If the app still won't install, try resetting the Microsoft Store cache by going to Settings > System > Storage > Clear local saved games.

4. Remove and Re-add your Xbox profile.

I tried everything listed, but the issue persists.

After resetting the MS Store cache and removing/adding my profile, game streaming stopped working. Trying to restart after that it never got past the startup loading screen, so I was forced to take one last step: hold down the sync and eject buttons, press the power button, and wait for the second startup chime to load the recovery screen and do a system reset.

There’s currently no confirmed ETA on a fix, but it should be resolved soon.
