Issues with internet speed since recent update

Just joined my brother in law in our usual nightly game of Terraria. All of his maps on my side look like that one I shared in the link above. It's usually on the left side of the map, the right side looks fine. It seems to be affecting the Jungle areas
of the game and anything left of that area. Our maps, from worlds on my side of the internet, look OK to him on his side. His maps look OK to him on his side. It's only on our side that his maps look corrupted. Exploring in those areas along with him causes
our system to lock up, forcing a full power down and power on reset.

As of October 28th this is still an issue, first time using the wheel since the recent update and it's doing the same thing to me. Xbox One slows to half speed and audio is patchy.

I had a similar problem with BF4 and Forza 5 recent updates but it was due to my Internet speed being throttled because I had used up my 100gb for the month. Once my quota was reset after 5 days the updates went through fine. You may have an Internet speed
problem as it seems really slow speeds won't allow updates to the X1

Strange enough, I have been having some similar issues since the last update, my internet has always been fine, always receiving the speeds I should, and then since the latest update my Xbox will disconnect itself from Xbox Live for absolutely no reason,
my internet doesn't drop out either, it is very strange.

Sorry to hear it. What is your internet speed (up and down)? You can test at speedtest.net.

I just recently upgraded my internet. The speeds before were 5 down and .5 up and I experienced the same issue that you are having now.

With my new internet at much faster speeds I don't experience any slowdown. So perhaps your speed is the issue.

You should consider checking with your ISP to see if there's anything they can suggest as well.
