    I bet every one have a old gamertag he wants to changes and the Xbox support says, that the first Xbox gamertag change is free but I have to pay 10$ for changing this shit because I don't wanna have a name like Best_gamer.ever321 or something can anyone help, I don't wanna pay so much I could buy so many golden eagles with 10$

    Change of Gamertag

    You cannot just request a free gamertag change. The support on the phone only change your gamertag for free since it was for privacy issues and/or your one and only free gamertag change.

    So unfortunately you cannot just ask for a FNC.

    What is the exact issue?

    You didn't receive your first change free ?

    If so then no it's an automated system

    Support CANNOT issue a free change

    Also since you have a custom gamertag already the free change doesn't apply

    It's only if you have a random gamertag when you created it

    The enforcement team will only issue a forced gamertag change if the gamertag violates the code of conduct. There is no way to get a free change.

    Support does not handle enforcement issues so they are typically known to give incorrect information. However, based on that transcription, the support person stated that the enforcement team would be the ones who could issue a free name change. However,
    they did not clarify that that would only be the case if they overturned their decision.

    The free gamertag change with forced gamertag changes was removed years ago due to abuse. No one is allowed a free gamertag change after they have been issued a forced gamertag change. This would be per the code of conduct you agreed to.
