    Issues with functionality of Xbox Ratings & Reviews


    As of the past two weeks or so, Microsoft's store has been acting up and preventing me (and I believe others) from being able to swiftly navigate through their Reviews and Ratings. There are multiple issues, but this predominantly concerns the "filter" feature
    Xbox made available.

    When choosing to filter reviews, the little menu pops up giving you options on which ratings you would like to see. More than half the time, I am prevented from accessing the lower-star reviews. This happens in a multitude of ways:

    1. The "filter" menu gets stuck on the screen. This prevents me from being able to view the product or the store properly, forcing me to press the guide button and reboot the store entirely.

    2. Occasionally while scrolling through filtered reviews, my screen glitches out and sends me to "Videos" or "People also like" forcing me to go back and restart the entire (dysfunctional) filtering/screening process.

    3. For games that are popular (such as Red Dead 2 or Minecraft) you are immediately prompted to buy the special edition. This means you can't filter reviews unless they only say good things about the game.

    After multiple tries, my updated review was still not accepted by the former (my reviews seemed to publish just fine on other titles). I also noticed that Minecraft doesn't have a single review below three stars. This seems very odd to me, as even some of
    the best rated games are inevitably disliked by someone.

    steam does that, after 3 hours of gameplay it lets you leave a review, also you can get thumbs up or down and replies to your reviews too. Microsoft won't go as far as that as it means doing some actual work.

    microsoft reviews section is always trash

    one review i found elsewhere explains the game is not to everybodies tastes

    WARNINGS!: This is "technically" a horror game so body horror, depressing themes, and mental illness, are to be expected. If you CANNOT handle that, give this game a pass. This is also a SEQUEL to "Lobotomy Corporation" so please play that game to it's fullest

    If the reviews are actually about the game that's fine,but I'm not here to talk about the game itself and more so the ratings and reviews section being abused. Leaving a review should be a privilege and not taken lightly. It pains me to see a lot of unrelated reviews and ratings posted on games and apps.
    There's been a few games I've noticed on there recently where the reviews were filled with irrelevant stuff which, at times, was offensive, sexist, racist, abusive against those with mental illness and generally extremely offensive. I reported a few at the time but it was just pointless as there were so many. To me, the fact they were even able to be posted says that Microsoft is not serious at all in combatting offensive content

    I agree that either the reviews part of the Store either needs closing down (which would be a shame as it is useful when used properly) or reviews needs, well, reviewing before they are posted

    It's frustrating when you're trying to find relevant information about the game and everything you read has nothing to do with the game. I feel you should only be able to review a game after playing it for 2 hours and those that abuse rating and reviews should have their privilege taken away. That is my solution to the problem, and your suggestion would be great too. I just hope something is done about this.
