Issues with copyright and not being able to stream music-Groove Music Pass

I am suddenly seeing (as of the past couple months) when artists I follow post new music it is labeled as unavailable on groove music streaming pass. And this is happening with a lot of the artists I like all at the same time.
Example of copyright message While I understand copyright issues happen, this suddenly started with many artists from different record labels. The artist in the screenshot, Derek
Minor, is under record label Reflection Music Group (RMG) and I actually contacted the company and they said that they always publish to groove music streaming service, but still for me none of the music available. By the same record label
RMG, artist Tony Tillman, published two singles in 2017 and the newest one is not available, but the second-newest single is available. Another artist from a different record label is Futuristic. Both of his newest singles are not available along with a single
that's by Futuristic, NF. But every other Futuristic album is available. It also seemed strange that the new music is not available is, but the older music is still stream-able. I would think that if is wasn't a technical issue but actually a copyright issue,
if the record label were to stop supporting Groove, that they would pull all the music and not just old music. I understand this is a complex issue but it prevents me from enjoying my Groove music pass that I paid for and artists that I enjoy.

Xbox/Groove Music Pass on Windows Phone 10 Insider Preview

Hello. Since I'm using Windows Phone 10 Insider Preview (now on 10.0.10512.1000) I'm not allowed to download music (using the new Groove App) with the context of my Xbox/Groove Music Pass active subscription. I can find the music I want on the new Store
App, but if I want to download it I have to pay. How can I use my Xbox/Groove Music Pass subscription with my WP10 phone? Thank you

Background music

It's great that xbox have background music on for groove music but the problem is not everyone have groove music pass, nothing wrong with groove I used to have it but there are other music streaming apps like Spotify maybe it won't be easy to get it on xbox,
if it does then that would be great

On December 31, 2017, the option to stream, purchase, and download music from Groove Music was discontinued. If your purchased music was downloaded, you’ll still be able to listen to it.

When Microsoft announced the discontinuation of the Groove Music Pass streaming service on October 2, 2017, they notified customers that Groove Music Pass content would be available to move to Spotify until January 31, 2018. Unfortunately, that window has now passed.

On December 31, 2017, the option to stream, purchase, and download music from Groove Music was discontinued. If your purchased music was downloaded, you’ll still be able to listen to it. The app is still updated and you can still play purchased music that
you were able to download from the service before 12/31/17.

If the playlist was downloaded before 12/31/17 then I don't see why it wouldn't still work on Forza Horizon 3. Forza Support will have more information on this if they did in fact remove this feature from the game once the service of Groove Music was discontinued.

There are other apps that support background music besides Spotify though.

According to this site, VLC, Groove, iheartradio, and Pandora support the feature. Additionally, there is the Simple Background Music Player app that lets allows for playback from USB devices.

That app plays audio files in both M4A and MP4 formats, in addition to MP3, WMA, and FLAC.

In regards to Groove, it doesn't sound like you can stream anymore.
