    Hi there. I have an xbox series x. When cod cold war first came out, went and bought the disc version,played it for probably a year and a half to two years. I can no longer play it as when I boot up the game,with the the disc in thr console, it asks me to buy it from the store. Any advice would be appreciated

    Eject the disc from your Xbox, make sure it's clean and free from scratches.

    If the issue persists, please try a different game disc with your console to see if other games work correctly.

    Hi there Kyle. Other discs work. And the disc isn't as bad as other games have been. And they still work. Just wondering if Microsoft just trying to recharge me

    Maybe you have the Xbox One version of COD Cold War and you see that message because the Xbox One version cannot be upgraded to Xbox Series X. You can find more informations about COD Cold War editions here:
