    Issues with audo


    We have been having intermittent audio issues with our Xbox One starting a few months ago. The problem arises when we are watching TV shows and it is switching between episodes. The tv will blink and then there is no sound once the episode starts. Or if
    we are watching a movie and then stop to turn another movie on, suddenly there is no sound. We have noticed if we hit 'B' and then play again it usually fixes it but sometimes we have to go back 3 or 4 times before the sound will come back. Any advice? Thanks!

    Hello Taasla Ketzia,

    This issue sounds to be related to your memory unit.

    Can you make sure to check if there are no corrupted files on your storage device? They will be called unrecognized, incompleted or will have a orange circle with "!" mark. If you will find somethin like that in Settings - System settings - Storage - your
    storage unit - Games and aps, you will have to select them and delete them.

    After that I suggest to clean the cache. That's - System settings - Storage - your storage unit needs to be highlighted so you will be able to press "Y" - Device options. Than select Clear system cache.

    It is completely safe to do so and most of the times resolve the freezing issues.

    I agree with the above statement. Start by checking your hard drive for any corrupt files. Then clear your cache and see if that helps. After that I would try different cables to see if that helps. Let us know if this info helps.

    Hello Ronald,

    Try a new HDMI cable and make sure your television/screen is not muted (this may sound like a stupid fix, but I have did it before a couple of times by sitting on the remote)

    If you are using a headset connected through your controller, your controller's audio jack is likely broken, if you are using tv audio, check your tv's speakers on other inputs and check your hdmi cable/ try another hdmi cable.
