    Issues with Ark Genesis


    I bought and installed the Ark Genesis Season Pass on Xbox One but nothing shows up as far as a new map on the game. Did I do it wrong or are there any additional steps I need to take to play Genesis?

    Can't Download Genesis 2 DLC for Ark: Survival Evolved

    Hello LKELLY96,

    Thank you for contacting the Xbox support forums. Ark Genesis Part 2 is part of the Genesis season pass that you can purchase separately with Ark: Survival Evolved. At this time, the Ark: Survival Evolved Explorer's Edition which includes; the Survival Evolved Season Pass, Extinction, Aberration, Scorched Earth, and Survival Evolved Aberrant Skins is the current edition that is available on Game Pass.

    Ark: Genesis Part 2 is part of the second expansion pack which is not currently available with Game Pass. However, Game Pass members may currently receive a discount on the ARK: Genesis Season Pass which would include Ark: Genesis Part 2.

    Hi, we have exactly the same problem with is frusting to say the least!! Have you heard anything back from the devs if you don't mind me asking. We wondered if it hadn't been released yet but bit annoying seems we've paid for it. Thanks in advance :)

    Ark Genesis Issue

    I understand your frustration, especially because you pre-ordered!

    Please don't do anything as drastic as deleting your account or doing a factory install!

    You will want to uninstall your ARK game and DLCs. Luckily your progress is saved on the servers.

    You will want to clear out the cache on the console by performing a hard reset (Hold the power button for 10s and I always unplug for 10s as that resets even those items that have residual hold).

    If you are using the Windows Store, then reset it

    1. Press the Win+R keys to open the Run dialog.

    2. Type WSReset.exe, and click/tap on OK.

    Go have your favourite beverage and a snack because it takes a while to rebuild.

    Make sure you are signed in to Xbox Live and try again if the game comes up with requiring you to pay.

    As for now, the Season Pass is not play anywhere, so until the developers fix this (or tell if its by design) nothing can be done for now.
