Issues with account and converting credits

Good morning,

I received an email saying:

“There seems to be an issue with your account: please reach out to our support forum team.”

I believe it is related to issues converting my credits to dollars. I have over 5,000 credits so I imagine they should have been converted but they did not.

Is this something you can convert for me manually as a credit to my Microsoft account, especially since this program is ending soon? I would really like a credit to my MS account (as was the original program) rather than MS Reward points.

Issues with account and converting credits

Hello CloakOfMuadDib,

There is currently an internal issue with the data stored for your account which is preventing a deposit. Our deposit process cannot correctly determine the primary billable account to deposit into for your Microsoft Account, and thus aborts the process.
This is an issue that we are working on resolving with another team since we are not able to fully access the database containing billable account information. At the moment, we have not received an estimate on when this problem will be resolved. We apologize
for the inconvenience. If this issue persists until our transition, your Credits will be converted to Microsoft points, as stated in the FAQ:

What about my current Xbox Live Rewards Credits and MyVIP Gems balance?



If you have any pending Rewards Credits in your Xbox Live Rewards account on May 31, 2018, or if you are expecting your MyVIP deposit for purchases made in May 2018, Xbox Live Rewards will convert them into your local currency and deposit them in your
Microsoft account by the end of June 2018. You will then have 1 year to spend that currency on digital items from the Microsoft Store.


If Xbox Live Rewards is unable to deposit into your account for some reason, as long as you have not opted out to make the transition to Microsoft Rewards, any undeposited Xbox Live Rewards Credits and unredeemed MyVIP Gems will be automatically converted
to Microsoft Rewards points and be added to your Microsoft Rewards account to redeem for whatever you choose from the Microsoft Rewards catalog. See the next question for when to expect your Rewards Credits and MyVIP Gems if you have opted-out of making the
transition to Microsoft Rewards.
