    Issues updating console


    So basically, I've been trying to download the recent update for xbox for the past couple of days but it won't work. I tried checking my internet connection and that was fine, I tried all of the troubleshooting options provided and they didn't work. I
    tried the offline update but that would even go as far as downloading the file onto my computer. what can I do at this point to get my xbox to work?

    You are not alone. This is an issue for sure. Microsoft hasn’t admitted anything yet for some reason.

    I just purchased mine today and having the same issue. Good connection with same error. Trying to download offline update now but painfully slow for some reason. I checked my build against the update list and it is earlier than the first one which
    tells me this unit has been on the shelf for a year or better. Probably why it wont update normally.
    I have the same exact issue. I've gone through all the steps, even made the usb to update offline, and it comes to the screen to let me do that but the software update button choice is not activated.

    before anyone asks, yes, I've done all the things at least 5 times. I've tried with and without wired or wireless, I've even reset to factory settings and started all over again.

    I tried to use gamer expert but he just copied and pasted the same steps I've already done, and I told him that at the beginning of the conversation.
