Issues staying connected to Destiny

Hello Everyone,

I have been playing Destiny for about a month now and I am really enjoying the game but I have a huge problem. I am continually be disconnected from Xbox Live or from Destiny servers themselves. Most are Caterpillar errors. I have checked bungie's help
site but it seems very generic and not very informative.

My 360 is hardwired to my Time Warner Ubee wireless router/modem. I have cleared my system cache three times as recommended by Microsoft Support. I have deleted and re-downloaded my profile and nothing seems to work. I have set a static IP address for
my Xbox but nothing I have tried has seemed to have any effect on my problem.

Does anyone have any suggestions, ideas, opinions, theories, or anything? I really love the game but I can not make any progress getting disconnected every 5-10 minutes. Thank you all in advance for the time. Have a great weekend!

it happens to just about everybody

 

A problem so wide spread and no fix? What the hell, Bungie! That is simply unacceptable. The game wasn't free. I feel like I shelled out $60 for a beta version.

 

I've never experienced this, I hope they fix it for you

 

Who do I contact about this? Bungie? Microsoft? My ISP?

 

I've experienced it before, but now with the new patch it literally just crashes and freezes my entire xbox. I did everything I could think of, but now I am stuck. It still doesnt work, in fact, I could say its gotten worse.

 

Rented this game and I am experiencing the same issue. Is this still an ongoing problem for a lot of people? I was going to buy this game, but I am not sure now.

 

This issue is still valid unfortunately ....

 

I am still having the same problems. This really sucks especially since the save points are so far apart.

 

I'm happy it's not just me. I want to love this game, but obviously, how the hell can I if I can't play?
