Issues regarding reward credits conversion and redemption of gems.

Hello.

I've been encountering some issues regarding the Xbox Rewards Program.

To begin with I've been waiting for a while for my reward credits to be converted to my local currency and be deposited into my account, but nothing seems to be happening.

This is annoying as I'm waiting for them to be deposited into my account so that I can purchase a game I have been wanting to get which is on offer at the moment, but if I wait too long I will have missed my opportunity to get it for a good price.

And to add to this, I recently acquired some more MyVIP gems and I am unable to redeem some more reward credits with them. I understand that it can only be redeemed twice per month, but we are now in the following month and I am still being notified that
it is out of stock and I am only able to redeem it twice per month.

Not appropriate value

In the Terms and Conditions for Xbox Live Rewards, it gives the value of points as:

"The Rewards Credits conversion is as follows: one thousand (1,000) Rewards Credits = $1 USD."

And, since you can trade gems in the vault for XBL Rewards Points, 250 gems for 5,000 points, or 500 gems for 10,000 points, we can arrive at the value of the MyVIP gems 1 Gem = 20 points, or 50 gems = $1 USD.

Microsoft Rewards Points, on the other hand, are only worth a little over 2/3 the value of XBL Rewards Points.

Also in the Terms and Conditions, it says:

"Any changes in Rewards Credit values will be promptly announced and
will not impact any Rewards Credit values already earned."

So, this 1:1 conversion of Gems and XBL Points to Microsoft points when the changeover happens will violate Microsoft's own Terms and Conditions.

So, I think someone needs to rethink the 1:1 conversion, and maybe also stop limiting the digital items in the Vault, so that users can get the full value guaranteed by Microsoft's own Terms and Conditions.

Gems have no currency value and were only used to obtain items from the Vault. Due to user feedback, if you opt out of the program, 1 Gem will become 1 Reward Credit, not 10 Rewards Credits. Since this is also the conversion rate for Gems to Microsoft Points
(1:1). Gems have never been worth 20 Rewards Credits. As you request, we will leave the thread unlocked, but cannot guarantee a response.

From the FAQ on Vault Credits:

I claimed Rewards Credits from the vault. When will I receive them?

If you claim Rewards Credits from the MyVIP Vault, they should appear as pending in your account within 96 hours. Once they are pending in your account, the normal deposit process kicks in. Generally if you have over 5,000 Rewards Credits pending in your
account in the first half of any given month, that amount will be converted to your local currency and deposited into your Microsoft account on or around the 30th of that same month. If the Credits show as pending in the second half of the month, that amount
will be deposited into your Microsoft account on or around the 15th of the next month.

Please note you need at least 5,000 Rewards Credits pending to automatically trigger a deposit, though you can request a deposit for the next scheduled date as long as you have 1,000 Credits pending. Also, if you have ongoing issues with us depositing
into your account, such as your account not matching up with your billing location, you might want to consider choosing a different prize from the vault, as we won’t be able to deliver your Rewards Credits until the deposit issue is resolved.

You can review when you received these Credits as pending from your MyRewards page, which will show the specific date these Credits were pending in your account in the MyStatement section of that page.
