    Issues adding my console to the Console Companion PC app.


    Hi, I am trying to connect my Xbox One S to the Console Companion PC app to try and stream it onto my laptop since I don't have a TV. BUT the console isn't showing up and it wants me to type in my IP address, but since I don't have a TV, I can't actually view my IP address, or see whether i'm even connected to the internet or not.

    I've tried searching up tutorials but they all require a TV in some way.

    I've turned on the console, connected the HDMI cable, but nothing seems to work.

    Any help will be greatly appreciated!

    Console companion app was discontinued with Windows 8

    You must use the Xbox app built into windows

    Do you mean sign out of the console companion app on my phone or is there a console companion app on my PC that I am missing?

    If you're using the Xbox app, the PC app hasn't added that option yet. If you can use the Console Companion app you should be able to do it there or you'll need to use the console or mobile app.

    In the Xbox console companion app on my PC, there is no option for voice invites like on my phone, I get the invites through game bar but still nothing through the Xbox console companion app

    You can still change it on the console and through the Console Companion app (not the Xbox app) on the PC.
