issue with xbox slim and audio desynchronise on all guitar hero games

hi,

I have a strange issue with my new xbox 360 slim ( 4 months old )

all my guitar hero games are losing calibration sync while playing, i can calibrate perfeclty the games and play for 30 seconds until the lag keeps increasing until i can't even hit a single note, the game doesn't lag but slowly but surely lose calibration,
it happens on guitar hero 3 / world tour and warriors of rock, i also play rockband 3 but this game is not affected.

After searching on internet i found a few persons having the same issues and it seems to be the xbox itself that produce this ( it seems that some slim xbox do that with guitar hero )

i tried everything, 2 tv, playing on cd or installing the games ( my dvd are in perfect condition, not a scratch and i use to play those games on my other xbox without this issue )

i play rythm games a lot and this is my fourth xbox 360 in the last 7 years, i recently had a problem with the third console i bought ( after only 3 months )and had it replace at the store with the one that produce the actual problem.

i didn't have time to play until then and just realize this week after a few sessions.

anyone have a solution or had this problem ?

If i send it to microsoft for a repair, will they actually being able to do something ? because except the guitar hero games ( the only games i play with rockband actually ) the other games i have doesn't have any issues...

does the guitar for guitar hero 6 work with all previous guitar hero games? i was thinking of buying guitar hero 6 warriors of rock guitar bundle and guitar hero metallica

 

Xbox won't turn off and Phantom controller

Hi, I see you have Guitar Hero in your recently played games list. Is the guitar or some other Guitar Hero controller laying around somewhere with something pressing buttons on it ? Try taking the batteries out of the guitar/drums and see if the issue persists

help please, since i post i sold my xbox and bought a new one and the problem is still the same :'(

the new one is a slim model too and it seems ( from what i read on a few forums ) that some people had the same issue when changing their xbox from a fat to a slim with all guitar hero games.

rock band 3 works perfectly but all guitar hero games gives me the same problem : gh 3 / world tour / metallica / warriors of rock.

the only temporary solution that works is to pause the game every 30sec for the calibration to reinitialize, online play is impossible with this solution ...

 

if you have tried different consoles, different TVs, and different games, then i would suggest it may be an issue with the guitar. is it wired or wireless? do you just have one, or multiple? is it happening with all guitars? are you able to borrow one
from someone to test out?

yes i did try with different guitars, i have 6 guitars that i use for years, xplorer and gibson wired and wireless, all of them work perfectly on rock band 3.

The problem seems to be a hardware problem with xbox slim itself, i tried with hdmi / vga cable / composite all resolution, same problem.

on other games i don't have problem either, only the guitar hero games, the xbox slim seems to have issues with framerate on guitar hero games, loosing a few frames every X seconds creating a lag that developp over time during songs. it is the weirdest problem
i ever had.

I have guitar hero 3 on pc too and using the same screen and guitar the problem doesn't appears.
