Issue with Xbox Live Gold Game

I previously got a game for free from having Xbox gold. I got Borderlands 1. Not borderlands 2. I saw the e-mail and it said that the game offered was Borderlands 2 not 1 and it is no longer available. I spoke with someone at Microsoft support who told me
to indicate Ref. #[Mod Removed] . We decided that what happened was a glitch. I would really like to get this sorted and play Borderlands 2 not Borderlands 1. Thanks

Microsoft giving free digital games for users with broken disc drives

I was just told this while chatting with an MS rep about a separate issue: "Every console sent in for repair will have a free 30 day Xbox Live Gold subscription after the repair. However for those with disc unreadable issue, on top of the free 30 day Xbox Live Gold subscription, they'll receive a free game token." They will email the code after the replacement XBox has shipped.

You're not showing as gold here. Are you sharing a gold subscription with someone on the One? That could possibly be the issue.

If the gold is supposed to be on your account, you would need to check your subscription at

Let's see if we can figure out what's going on here. I'm gonna have you check lots of places to make sure we don't miss anything. First, scroll through the Xbox 360 section of "My
Games" and look for Borderlands 2. Next place to check is going to be your
purchase history. What you're looking for here is the acquisition of Borderlands 1 between March 1, 2017 and March 15, 2017. If you see that, you'll want to provide us with a screenshot so we can verify that information and proceed on our end.

If you don't see that, you'll want to reach back out to
phone or chat support and work with them to verify your license for Borderlands 1. Again, within that 3/1/17-3/15/17 date range. If they are able to verify that you got Borderlands 1 within that timeframe, please post back with your reference number and
we'll dig a bit more.

I can't find the game on either website. I spoke with a Microsoft Support person named Ivan ( he told me to reference #[Mod Removed]) on Wednesday and he directed me here to get sorted out.

 

Was Ivan able to confirm that you have the license for Borderlands 1? If not, you'll want to call back and have them take a look at your licenses for the 3/1/17-3/15/17 date range to see if Borderlands 1 is there.

We can't proceed until they can confirm that you do or do not have the license in that specified date range so keep us posted!
