Issue with Xbox Live and backwards compatability

Xbox live and backwards compatibility appears to have a problem with sign in. This has been an ongoing problem since the very beginning of the backwards compatibility program. You sign in on your Xbox One and during the launch of a backwards compatible game
you see the pop up buble telling you that you are signed in to Xbox Live but...low and behold! The game immediately says otherwise when it comes to accessing any online content such as extra “downloadable” content or multiplayer content or anything that requires
you to be signed in to Xbox Live. (Please be aware that according to the network testing I am behind a cone NAT. open) Now the interesting thing I have also seen is that I have access to account information and other info that seems to indicate that I am
indeed signed in to Xbox Live but the game does not recognize this at all. I have tried all of the (exhaustively) suggestions in forums in many places here and in other places online and what I have seen is this: It appears to be linked to an inability of
the Xbox to make another request (properly) to a router or modem through PnP for the info to make a connection to Xbox Live for the emulator (the Xbox 360 software emulation running on the Xbox one to run the 360 games). A reset and immediate restart of the
emulator will often get the games running properly.... for a time. But only indefinitely and not properly resolved for any long period of time. This would lead me to believe that it is a software bug that has been left unresolved by Microsoft. The standard
for PnP is pretty clear cut folks. Why hasn’t this’s been fixed and why don’t/hasn’t Microsoft or Xbox Live support staff addressed this issue especially with the subsequent subscription services that depend on backwards compatibility working as intended?
I would really appreciate a reply. Thank you. An owner of over 278 games. A subscriber to game pass. An owner of an Xbox One X, One S, One, 2 360’s and more than 10 PC’s with Microsoft operating systems on them.

So backwards compatability is a big issue when from what we know the PS4 "backwards compatability" is just the ability to buy the games in a digital format that will work on the new console, hmm.
