    Issue with Xbox LFG

    Hello

So l have 2 accounts on my xbox which do not have any issues at all using LFG

l previously made an account for my nephew with pretty much the same settings as the other 2 accounts but when l go to lfg on his account, l keep getting "There Was A Problem Posting Your Looking For Group" and do not have a clue how to fix this

I made sure it is not a child account as it has the same settings as my 2 other accounts, l have reset the console and still have these issues but only with the new account.

Hopefully, someone can help me out with this.

    thank you

    :)

    Hi mate

yes he is, l helped him make the account as he is coming from a ps5

Like l said, the exact same settings on this account are exactly like my main 2 accounts.

It's just a weird thing that I'm trying to figure out and its got me completely lost

I checked and my account is an adult account, made sure that all of the privacy options were enabled, and I did push the "submit" button at the bottom of the page to save my settings. Unfortunately its still not working.

Thank you for spending so much time helping me fix this issue,

    Jerry

    Hey Jerry!

Nice to meet you! I'm Darhyl, a fellow gamer. I'm sorry you are experiencing this. I am here to help. If I may ask, is this the first time this error has occurred?

In order to fix this, you will need to perform some basic troubleshooting steps. Kindly make sure that your Windows, Device Drivers, and Xbox gaming services are up to date, here's how:

    For Windows:

Press the Start button on the taskbar, type settings, and then select Settings.

On Windows 10, select Update & Security. On Windows 11, select Windows Update.

On the Windows Update page, select Check for updates to see if any updates are available for your device.

Once the updates have been downloaded, select Install now to start the installation.

Following installation, we recommend that you restart your device so that the latest updates can take effect.

    For Device Drivers:

For the best game performance, make sure your system’s video card drivers (or display adapter drivers) are up to date. Drivers are available on the support website for your computer manufacturer, or if your computer system is custom built, on the video card manufacturer’s support website. Updating video card drivers can resolve game crashes, improve frame rates, and improve overall game performance.

    For Xbox gaming services:

Press the Start button on the taskbar, type store, and open the Microsoft Store app.

    Select Library.

Under Updates & Downloads, check if there are any updates available for the Xbox app or Gaming Services app. If an update is available, select Update.

Once you have updated your Xbox app, check if the issue on the Xbox app Looking for Group is working now.

Please take your time and let me know if it works.
