    I've been in touch with Xbox Twitter support, but unfortunately, they have been unable to help me with this issue, they keep redirecting me to the Feedback App on Windows 10/11, but it's not accepting feedback for mobile devices or applications. So I'll try it here.

    I've been a proud owner of a Microsoft Surface Duo 2, and one of the main feature of the device, is the dual screen gaming with gamepass. That entails having the game on one of the screens, and having the (touch) controls on the other, giving it a Nintendo DS like way of gaming.

    Unfortunately, when updating to the latest version of the (android) App, version 210.40.908. The option to have the controls separately have been missing. the game screen is now in the middle of the two displays (with gap of the screen right in the middle) and the controls are now overlayed over the game screen. Just like any other single screen mobile device. This ruins the XCloud experience significantly. I've tried the Game Pass Beta app, to see if it has the same problem, but unfortunately, there too, has the option been missing.

    As soon as I downgrade to the previous version (2209.42.818), using a mirrored APK file. the Multiple screen function returns, meaning that the bug is specifically in the latest version. This is now known on multiple media outlets (Windows Central, YouTube).

    My Question: Will the multi-screen option return, and is this just a single fluke? or can we say goodbye to it forever?

    It's only a matter of time. It might not be the most ideal but it would definitely be interesting to play Xbox on the Surface Duo and the Surface Neo.

    Well there is a Surface Duo to be released in late 2020 and project xcloud, combine the 2 and you have a fairly powerful combo :)

    Microsoft is aware of the case, it is notified that the problem is in the app, this means that they are working day and night to solve the Game Pass problem in the application, but unfortunately nothing has been reported about the resolution of the problem, and unfortunately what we all that's left is to wait.
