    Issue with teredo on Windows 10 Xbox app during certain time of day


    So I am having a weird issue with the Teredo tunneling while in an xbox party. I get the error popping up saying that my network setting are blocking it. However, it only happens in the morning. Later on in the day, like the afternoon, evening, and night
    time, it works perfectly. I have had this problem for at least a week if not longer, it just made itself really known now.

    So far for trouble shooting, I have done everything on this page, Xbox App NAT Type Displays Teredo Is Unable to Qualify | Xbox App on Windows 10. including doing the
    reinstall a few times.

    I have also this morning also refreshed Windows 10 and then installed 6 programs and it started happening again. Programs installed were Chrome, Firefox, Rainmeter, Steam, Discord App, and Skype Desktop. As this happens in the morning and it still happened
    after I had installed these, I figure it might be 1 of these OR something else on my network breaking it. I did remove Discord and Teredo still broke. It also broke when I made sure Skype and Steam were closed and stopped, I did not stop any services for them,
    just made sure the programs were fully closed. I also have setup my home network myself and have went through the routers numerous times and found nothing that should affect it.

    As far as the network goes. I have 2 routers with one of them setup as a switch with an access point. The computer with the issue is plugged into the main router that controls the network. No modem as I am on a fibre connection. There are 3 Xbox Ones on
    the network and 4+ computers usually on at peak times. However, the morning is when no one is really on and I'm the only one playing Xbox.

    When Teredo breaks, I have gotten show state in netsh to tell me that the UDP connection couldn't be made. So it seems that something is hitting the UDP port, but I am unsure if it is a program or something on my network causing it.

    I'm at the point where I am going to test with another computer and account at the same time. I figure it 2 computers do the same thing then its a network issue that is affecting the Windows 10 computers. Also for the curious minds, yes, party chat works
    normal on the Xbox without issues at the same time the computer is having issues (my pc audio setup is better than the ear buds I have the work in the controller).

    If anyone has any ideas or questions, any help is appreciated. I will be watching this the rest of the day. I am at work right now, so the most I can do is reply (yay evening shift).

    Network connection issues can possibly be caused by incorrectly configured network settings or your network speed is limited.

    To resolve your concern, we suggest that you disconnect all the devices connected to your router and restart your network hardware. After restarting your router, connect your computer first. Then, make sure Windows Firewall is turned on. You can follow the

    I had Open NAT type during my trouble shooting and restarted the network a few times to make sure I did. So NAT Type hasn't been the issue.

    To further troubleshoot your concern, please provide us the following information:

    • Does the issue occur when your computer and your Xbox is the only devices connected to your router?
    • Have you tried connecting your computer wired to the router?
    • Is your Xbox and your computer connected to the same router?
    • Does the issue occur when only one of the routers is turned on?
