    Issue with Startup


    Since roughly 4 pm today, I have been unable to sign in or mostly interact with my Xbox's interface. I will start up the console from a hard reboot, and it will go through the regular loading screen. It will then attempt to actually load the Home screen.
    This is where the issue starts. Generally, I receive a black screen, or become frozen on the "signing in" display. Sometimes, if I wait long enough, I can load the Xbox side menu, or the interface received when holding the power button on your controller.
    And sometimes it will display a message saying " Please try again. For some reason Home took too long to start. (0x8027025a)" minus the quotation marks, of course. This has persisted until 10:15, after several hard reboots and waiting several hours with inactivity.
    I don't know what to do.

    That screen lasts for about 10 or 5 seconds at most. How long is it there for you?

    just bought Xbox one s. got everything plug in n on. Just had a green screen for awhile. All it has is Xbox one with 3 dots flashing across. Is this normal? Is it updating? Do I need to do something? Cheers alan

    A glitch may of happened that seriously courrpted your file saves or hard drive making this happen. Serivce may be needed.

    it would appear that additional support is needed for your console, biggest thing would be to start is to see if you have a warranty for your console.

    I just noticed that my console was receiving an update to the microsoft store. That might have been what started your problem.
    Though unfortunately it doesnt solve your problem.
