Issue with Starfield saved games dissappearing.

deleting old saves games wont help.... sorry we need a better solution than that... i have this issue since Starfield ...

cant save game on FC 2024 too and all of bethesda game.

if that can help, i was able to install Starfield on my PC to retreive alot of saved games data that was not available on my xbox game save...

I'm sorry to hear that your saves were deleted during synchronization in the Starfield game. That must be very frustrating. Unfortunately, there is no way to restore them as deleting saves also deletes cloud saves. See: How do I delete saves in Starfield? - Bethesda Support

It is preferable to have numerous saved games if you want to avoid this issue. For various reasons, such as before and after a difficult battle, many players have different saved games. Generally speaking, it is advise using alternate save game spaces and saving pretty frequently. This way, in the event that one save game file is lost or replaced, you can still play one of your most recent saved games. Your saved game may be impacted if you've used any cheats.

I feel your pain. I lost my whole game.. .2 weeks worth of play. Xbox has inferred that the issuebis the "cloud beta". I'm just wondering why Microsoft would initiate the cloud based save system during the release of Starfield. Everyone that has ever played a Bethesda game knows they are infamous in their own right for having game save issues.

I personally have quit Starfield and won't Plat any games that require cloud saves until (if they ever do) Xbox fixes the problem.

Thanks for the reply. Xbox has told that they do have known issues with Starfield and their cloud based save system. I have synched the game repeatedly and have performed local saves and the game even shows when it's auto saving. But if for some reason the game gets "out of cloud synch" all of these saves, local or auto, are lost because the game actually didn't save because of the cloud synch issue

Ok, well I've had it with this POS game Starfield, 3rd day in a row that I've these sane issues. I was prompted to delete some saves to make room and when it re-synched, I **** lost EVERYTHING...ALL MY SAVES GONE!!! Now if I want to play, I have to start over and I was a lid level 40.

I'm done with Starfield and will NOT recommend it to friends and as far as reviews, I guess yoy can figure our what kind of reviews it will get. This saving to the cloud B.S. is what lost me my game.
