Issue with Split screen Hot Wheels Unleashed

Hi all.

I'm trying to play split screen on Hot Wheels Unleashed 2 however when trying to bring the second player into the game it won't connect the player.

It was working Tuesday however it won't work now. I've updated both controllers, and even turned them off and reconnected them and still it won't work.

There's no issue with 2 players on any other game.

Any advice thanks

Please try the following steps:

1. Press the Xbox button to open the guide.

Select Profile & system > Settings > Account > Remove accounts.

Remove your account from the console (You need to have your email address handy so that you can log in later).

2. Press and hold the Power button on the front of your Xbox until the console turns off.

3. Unplug the power cord from the back of your Xbox.

4. Wait a minute, and then plug the power cord back in.

5. Press the Power button on your Xbox to turn it back on.

6. Log in to your account again.

I was under the impression that you're trying to play multiplayer since it is asking you for a subscription, that's the only time that they will require it.

When you choose the split-screen option please make sure that you will not choose any online multiplayer option or feature.

Let's try to play the game while offline. Kindly follow the steps below and check if there will be any improvement.

Settings > General > Network Settings > Go Offline.

Thanks for your quick response. It's not Multiplayer. When you go to quick modes there is an option to split screen. Multi player is different according to other games we have. We just want to split screen with 2 controllers so brother and sister can play together. One as signed in, the other as the copy of signed in player.
