    Issue with point redemption in Microsoft Rewards app


    Hi,

    I'm an Xbox Insider in the Alpha ring (But apparently can't access any insider forums?) and recently downloaded the Microsoft Rewards app.

    There is an offer of 6000 points for buying Far Cry 5. I bought the Gold edition a week ago after seeing this promotion and have yet to be awarded any points for it, and there's no pending section or way to ask someone what is going on.

    So I'm here to ask why points haven't been awarded a week after purchasing a game on offer.

    Xbox Live Rewards amount not correct

    Those are Microsoft Rewards points, not Xbox Rewards credits. For help with the Microsoft Rewards program, you would need to contact their customer support via their redemption page.

    Pre-order has not given me rewards points

    The 6,000 points is a Microsoft Rewards program offer, not an Xbox Rewards program offer. For assistance with the Microsoft Rewards program you would need to contact their customer support via their redemption page. Per the terms of that offer, preorders
    are not eligible.

    Those are Microsoft Rewards points, not Xbox Rewards credits. For help with the Microsoft Rewards program, you would need to contact their customer support via their redemption page.

    Reward Points convert to MS currency.

    With Microsoft Rewards points you just go to their redemption page and redeem the points for either an Xbox gift card or a Live card (it's not possible to purchase gold using currency from gift cards through Xbox) and a code will be emailed to you. If you
    need further assistance, you would need to contact customer support for the Microsoft Rewards program via their redemption page. They are not the same as the Xbox Rewards program.

    Microsoft reward redemptions are deposited directly into the account that redeemed the points. As far as I am aware they are non transferable as per the terms and conditions of the rewards program
