Issue with new Arctis 9x and xbox keyboard

The keyboard itself plugs into my controller and the usb, I have plugged into the usb port on the front of my xbox series x. When using the keyboard, the keyboard works but the mic stops working.

May I know if you’re able to test with a different keyboard?
This may be useful to find the cause of the problem.

I understand, don’t worry. I can suggest other possible solutions before trying with a different keyboard.

A. Perform a physical power cycle by disconnecting the power cable:

“Turn off your console by pressing the Xbox button on the front of the console for about 10 seconds, until it shuts down completely.
Unplug the console's power cable. Wait 10 seconds.

Important, Be sure to wait at least 10 seconds. This step resets the power supply.

Plug the console power cable back in.
Press the Xbox button on your console to turn it on.”

B. Double-check if your controller and headset firmware is up-to-date by opening the Accessories app on your console.

However, before that, I would like to clarify what’s the connecting port your keyboard has?
Because you mention that it is a USB keyboard, but you’re connecting it directly to your controller. Are you using an adapter?

Additionally, is the keyboard not working only when you have connected your Arctis 9x headset?
