Discus and support Issue with local Channels on Directv in XBoX Games and Apps to solve the problem; When the Xbox sends the channel numbers to my directv HDDVR for the local channels it sends the incorrct channel numbers that are listed in one guide....     Issue with local Channels on Directv


    When the Xbox sends the channel numbers to my directv HDDVR for the local channels it sends the incorrct channel numbers that are listed in one guide. For example on directv NBC is channel 3 one guide has it listed as 3.1 when i tell it to switch to NBC
    it send the remote command of 3-1 which my HDDVR does not like. How do i make one guide list the actual channel numbers and not the . kind.

    Other examples ABC is 5, Fox is 8 CW is 55 etc.

    I did go through the set up correctly and pick my local directv instance and box etc.

    Directv Local Channels

    Whenever I try to use voice commands to tune to local channels, ie "watch KNXV" or "watch ABC", the kinect tunes to the nation channel instead of the local one. Is there a way to change the channel binding for voice commands?

    OneGuide doesn't work with DirecTV HD box.

    im having the same issue as you right now. my directv box is HR21/100 and channel up wont change the channel when prompted, tried to manually put in the receiver but still nothing is working

    direct tv local channels and access to dvr functions?

    The access to DVR functions are by design. It has been a requested design feature that has been noted.

    Horrible video stutter!

    I think I figured it out. The DirecTV receiver has a setting for "native format", turning it off seems to have solved the problem.

    I believe the issue was the receiver rapidly changing formats as it moved from one channel to the guide then to another channel.

    Time will tell!
