    Issue with Google Assistant turning the Xbox One X on after a few hours.


    I have come across an issue with the Google assistant when trying to turn the Xbox on.

    If turned on manually voice commands work as intended up to turning the Xbox off.

    After this if left off for a few hours you cannot turn back on with a voice command and have to turn the device on manually again which currently kind of defeats the object, other than this however everything does work smoothly.

    Is my Series X dying?

    I also have the exact same issue, after moving my Xbox one x from one tv to the other after a few hours of gaming it suddenly became all wavy at the bottom of the screen and video and audio cut out completely at times, I thought it might just be glitched but after shutting it off it no longer turns back on. This Xbox one x is only 2-3 years old, and I can’t see it dying that fast. Is there any way to fix this? I have tried multiple HDMI cables, ports, and TVs.

    Thanks for coming to the forums. We recommend to try and power off both devices for few seconds turn back on. It should be asking you to sign in with your account. Until it does that, it will not pair up. you can view the

    set up page     we have for google.

    Honestly, they are direct competitors and I doubt it would happen, and honestly I don't want want any of Google's junk on my Xbox.
