Issue with Game Sharing on same Xbox

Hi, I hope you're doing great out there. I am an Independent advisor and I am here to help you in regard to your concern.

Kindly make sure that your account is set as Home Xbox on the console where they're trying to play the game.

1. Sign in to your account.

2. Press the Xbox button to open the guide.

3. Select Profile & system > Settings > General > Personalization, and then select My home Xbox.

4. Check "Make this as My Home Xbox".

It is indeed very disappointing. I recently bought a second XBox One and am very frustrated by this. I wish the kept the Family Gold Plan. I don't recall this ever being an issue with that plan and multiple XBox 360's.

You can only share the games on the console that is the Home console. In order to use the games on a second console, you have to use the account that owns the game. So since the Forza console is now your Home console, both profiles would have to use that
console in order to share the games. So it is working as it's supposed to.

I'm currently game sharing with a friend you need to go to your setting on the Xbox that didn't buy the game and set the profile that purchased the game as your home Xbox.

It's odd that it did work that way because it shouldn't have. The Home setting is basically the One's version of a license transfer. So when you changed the Forza console to your Home console that would have moved your licenses to that console.
