Issue with FS 2020 on Xbox S serie

Because fs 2020 isnt xbox one compatible

Hello Christophe, try doing the following, uninstall ,remove any game or app that has in quick resume, then do a cache cleanup on the console, and a reset on the console keeping games and Apps, and try the MSFS again.

1. Go to xbox press and hold the XBOX power button on your console for 10 seconds until it turns off

2. Wait 10 seconds for it to turn off

3. Wait 1 minute with it off

4. Turn it back on

Xbox One reset keeping Games:

Press the Xbox button to open the panel.

Select system > Settings > System > Console Information

Select Reset console.

Restore and maintain my games and apps.

Rest assured, you won't miss games or saves

Note: You need to know the email and passwords of your accounts when performing this reset.

Thanks for your reply! No, I don't have a wired keyboard to try. I do have a full-size wireless keyboard (the one I got for the Xbox is a mini keyboard) with my computer that I will try tomorrow. I don't really expect that to make any difference, though.

I have found that MSFS doesn't seem to like the quick resume feature. I completely quit out of the game and did a "cold" start and that seemed to solve the issue of not being able to save a new keyboard profile. It also seemed to improve the actual functioning of the mapping -- at least some of the keys that weren't working before, were after the restart. I haven't had time to test it fully though (that darn job just keeps getting in the way ;-) )
