Issue with Expiring Credit

I dont believe they will credit it, since ive had a similar issue with Forza Horizon 3 and they told me they couldnt re-credit something once it expired

You would need to try contacting support and speak to billing, but there is no guarantee they will.

If you earn money through promotions or the Rewards program, the credits expire about a year after you receive them unless noted different in the terms of the offer. A lot of people also had money recently expire that was left over from when Microsoft points
were discontinued a couple of years ago.

Unfortunately, once the currency expires, there is no way to get it back.

They wasn't promotional money but Microsoft Point normally acquired in a GS store, (maybe there's a way to check all codes used on my account) and was not specified anywhere that those credit has an expiration time. For that reason I'd like to know if it
is possible to have an extended period of time to use them.

I am having a similar issue, I am trying to add my son who is 8 and he is setup as family on my account. I enter my credit card info but the expiration date would not go past 2020 and my credit card expires in 2021.
