Issue with Elite Series 2

Okay, so back in September, 2022 I purchased an Elite Series 2, brand new. I paid $154.99, which seemed like a lot, but I wanted a good controller that would last me a long time! It’s now mid January, 2023 (4 months later) and I’ve went through 3 of them. I currently have to send my 3rd one in to get my 4th controller (3rd replacement). I don’t want to keep doing this! I get a replacement controller, and either it’s broken when I receive it, or breaks really quick. It’s always one of the Bumpers too! Im extremely careful with my things, I always put it away when I’m finished playing, always wash my hands before playing, and I never rage! I’d hate to spend $155 for a paperweight, but I don’t own a car and getting to the UPS store so often is a problem! I’d much rather return it and receive my money back! I’ve tried to go down that road several times with no clear answer! I’d even be happy with a partial refund!

What are my options? Do I just keep sending it back over and over again? Can perhaps a brand new one be sent to me? I’ve read several Reddit posts where consumers received brand new ones for this issue! Maybe I can receive the core version instead? Maybe a pick up can be scheduled through UPS when sending back these broken controllers? On top of this, the controller that came with my Xbox series X (that I purchased last July) has stick drift! I’ve been playing video games since Super Nintendo came out and I’ve never had a paddle/controller break! My controller that came with my Xbox one works flawlessly!

If someone can please offer me an answer, I’d be really grateful! It’s just an extremely frustrating situation! Thank you in advance!
