    Issue with Dolby Atmos Xbox Series X and Xbox Series S


    Hey guys I'm having the dreaded Dolby Atmos delay issue everybody's having with the Xbox series s and the Xbox series X. I have both consoles and I was running a Vizio 70-inch 4K TV that was only capable of doing 60 hertz. Whenever I would enable Dolby Atmos in the Xbox settings I would get a one second delay from my speakers from everything from YouTube to the menu to gaming. The only way to get rid of the delay was switching over to 5.1 uncompressed which is not really a solution since I want to use Dolby Atmos. Since then I purchased a new TV a Samsung q80a that does 120 hertz with variable refresh rate. I hooked up the soundbar and I'm still getting the one second delay. I've been blamed it on the cables so I upgraded all the cables to HDMI 2.1. both for the arc channel and the Xbox to the TV. Still got the one second delay. I said screw it let me upgrade my soundbar because the TV supports E-ARC on my soundbar is still on Arc so maybe that was the issue. Flash Forward to now, I got an HDMI 2.1 cable connected from the HDMI 2.1 port on the TV to the Xbox, a HDMI 2.1 cable connected from the E-ARK port to the E-ARK port on the sound bar, and I'm still getting it one second delay. I have found other Reddit posts of people running into the same issue. So this is definitely a common bug or just something that has not been addressed by Xbox. Everyone who buys one of these TVs and is going to get a soundbar typically is going to have Dolby Atmos and it's a VERY annoying to not be able to use it. The only way I have been able to get Dolby Atmos working at all on my console without any delay is using the wireless 7.1 headphones from Xbox. Anyone please give me a hand with this I'd really appreciate it this problem has been going on for over a year and there's still no official response.

    No dolby atmos when streaming

    I have the problem that Netflix Dolby Atmos is not working with the x box S, if I try to play a series with Dolby Atmos, then Netflix give the text:

    This title can not play try later?

    Configuration is ok at the x box s and all other content without Dolby Atmos will play correct.

    If someone have a solution?

    Netflix Not Outputting Dolby Atmos On Xbox One

    I have had the same issue with Netflix and Apple TV (a few months), no Dolby Atmos, although there is a label Dolby Atmos at the title and chosen track with Dolby Atmos in the application. My AVR shows a PCM input signal for this application.

    My setup is: Xbox Series X - Denon AVR X3700H - TV Samsung 75Q80T

    I have a sony x9005f wtih sonos beam gen 2 if i play straight from the tv the beam sees the dolby atmos sound, but if i am playing my xbox series x i get only dolby digital dts en 5.1 uncompressed. I dont see the option for dolby atmos. How can i fix this?
