Issue with Dolby Access not connecting to microsoft store

I purchased a headset that came with 2 years access to Dolby atmos (Using with xbox series x). I followed the instructions for setup but the dolby access app is giving me an error that says “having trouble connecting to the microsoft store”. It’s been doing this for about a week now. I have tried resetting the power but to no end. Please help.

    :)

    Select Network.

    Select Advanced settings.

    Select DNS settings.

    Select Manual.

Change it to 1.1.1.1 or 8.8.8.8

Dolby Atmos for Headphones for Xbox

    Hello,

I have almost the same issue. I've bought Dolby Atmos for Headphones from Microsoft Store, connect my headset to controller and set audio output to Dolby Atmos in my Audio Settings page. But sometimes it is roll back to Windows Sonic! I've launch Dolby
Access app, check that in settings page selected Dolby Atmos For Headphones, close this app and get back to Audio Settings, change Windows Sonic to Dobly Atmos.

    Dolby Atmos Error type HeadphoneDownload

This is how it was solved for me.

    From Dolby access website:

Open your console web browser and search for "Get Dolby Access." You should get a link that is titled "Get Dolby Access - MS Store" or similar. The URL will be a Microsoft URL, not a Dolby URL.

    2. Click on "Get the App."

    3. Choose to accept when the message prompts you to launch the Store app.

    4. Download Dolby Access or Headphones from this new instance of the MS Store. If already purchased, choose "Launch."

License isn’t recognized for Dolby access.

Hi there! This is Virginia O.

I understand that you are experiencing issues with Dolby access license not recognized.

I apologize for the inconvenienced this has caused you. I will do my best to help you.

Please check the status of the Dolby Access license. Make sure that your Dolby Access license is active and linked to your Microsoft account. You can do this by visiting the Microsoft Store and checking your purchase history: https://account.microsoft.com>; Order history.

And then go to the Dolby Access app, sign out of your account, and then sign back in.

Next is to check for update. Both the Dolby Access app and your Xbox console should be up to date.

Then reset Dolby Access App To do this kindly go to Settings > Apps > Dolby Access > Advanced Options > Reset. This can sometimes resolve issues with the app.

    Thank you for your cooperation.

Dolby Atmos Needs Fixed by Xbox

    Hi PRED4TOR!

Sorry to hear that you are having issues with your audio. No one from Xbox support visits the forums and no one here has a direct line of contact to them.

After reading through the message you received from Dolby, it's actually that they themselves will need to update Dolby Access and not Microsoft. That Dolby is trying to work on an update to resolve the issue. The update might need assistance from Microsoft,
but overall it is a problem that Dolby needs to work on.

Again sorry about your issue with audio, but the fix is coming from Dolby and not Microsoft.
