    Issue with Daily Challenges - Microsoft Jigsaw (Premium Edition)


    I'm experiencing an issue with the Premium Edition of Microsoft Jigsaw; since April 13 I'm unable to collect the reward for the daily challenges.

    The challenges are accessible and playable but the program hangs when you click the Collect Reward button. The 'tune' is played as if the gold was being added to the total but the total remains the same and the program is unresponsive except for the windows
    control buttons which allows me to close the app. Minimising the App will cause it to close by itself after a few seconds.

    I've tried :

    1. Resetting the App in Apps & Features.

    2. Uninstalling the App rebooting and then re-installing it.

    3. Running the troubleshooter which told me that "Hanging or crashing apps" was not fixed, with a red X next to it.

    4. Carrying out a WSRESET as Administrator followed by a reboot.

    5. Uninstalling then re-installing Microsoft Store (then rebooted just to make sure!!)

    I'm Having the same issue on both my Laptop and Desktop PC so seems to be something common to both installations.

    I also play Microsoft Mahjong, Minesweeper and the Solitaire Collection daily challenges and all of those are functioning correctly.

  3. Microsoft Puzzle freezes

    I have Microsoft jigsaw Premium edition and I have not been able to play the daily challenges for over 2 months. Every time I finish a challenge and hit the collect reward button it freezes and nothing happens, I have to close it and when I re-open it
    it doesn't show that the puzzle was completed.

    Just as an update to this issue. The Windows upgrade to v1803 or a new month's worth of challenges has had no effect on the function of the App, it is still hanging at the collect reward stage.

    Any sort of reply from the support team would really be appreciated.

    Same basic issue. As added input, my tablet won't accept Creator's Edition, so still running 1706.

    Just to let others know that the update to Version 1.6.1805.1802 (with the Master & Grandmaster puzzle sizes) has fixed this issue for me.

    The same thing happened to me on 31st December - no more daily challenges. They start to load (seemlingly) then it just switches off Jigsaw altogether!

    Jigsaw collections work as usual, but not Daily Challenges.
