Discus and support Issue with changing "Online" status. in XBoX Accessibility to solve the problem; I keep running into an issue when trying to toggle my status between appear online/offiline.     Issue with changing "Online" status.


    I keep running into an issue when trying to toggle my status between appear online/offiline. When I try to appear online it says "Online Status Unknown". This is also causing me to not be able to receive party invites or game invites from friends.

    Anyone come across this before? I've tried hard resets, deleting my account from the xbox and re-adding it. ect.

    perform a full power cycle, or physically disconnect your Xbox One console to reboot it completely and fix many common issues. This process does not erase any of your games or data.

    xbox.com/status?

    Where are you trying to change the gamertag? Online or on the console?

    Is this still a problem for you? I have the exact same issue. I've tried my changing my online status on multiple consoles but it keeps saying 'Status Unknown' and remains in Offline mode.

    Mine seems to have fixed itself now. I can change between online and offline like normal.
