Issue when Reinstalling a game

I need help with that, as I have never done that before and I have no idea how it works too for this kind of stuff

Hello there, I have had this issue occur and I need help

I reinstalled Star Wars Battlefront 2015 (Ultimate Edition) after not playing it for a while. I had gotten out of the game and I uninstalled it to clear space on my xbox a few months ago. I have reinstalled it today and I have found out that it has wiped
the DLC content as well, which I am not happy about. I bought the game last year with all the DLC content, and I still have the code, which I tried to use again to no avail.

I am hoping it can be fixed, since I am looking into solutions and they haven't been helping, and I really don't want to spend money on getting the DLCs when I already have the ultimate edition, so can someone please help me, since this is pretty frustrating

The game updates are managed and controlled by each game developer. However, it should just install the update and not reinstall the game.

Someone posted the same issue with Destiny 2 after they canceled the update, they had to reinstall the game.

Are your games installed to an external hard drive? Maybe its trying to reinstall to the main hard drive on the Xbox?

You could try a hard reset but I'm not expecting that it would fix the issue.

Hard reset the Xbox by holding down the power button on the front of the Xbox for 15 seconds. After the 15 seconds let go of the power button then restart the Xbox.
