    Issue updating to current OS on Xbox one X


    Hi

    Have tried numerous times to update OS to current version in order to use the Xbox one X but keeps coming up with error code 0x8007045D. When I check this error message it appears to be for downloading Xbox live profile on xbox 360.

    It stops at various points in the download, even managed to get it to 'verifying update' before the same message came up.

    Anyone have any ideas?

    Unable to update Xbox One to the latest OS

    The current Xbox dev kits are stuck on os version 6.212998.0 and we need to update to 10.0.10586.1006 but I’m somehow blocked from doing so on xbox manager or offline updating.

    Been away from Xbox for a long time!

    Welcome back brother! One thing I think Microsoft is getting right is listening to feedback and updating the OS on the Xbox One accordingly and on a regular basis too. While the PS4's OS is easy to navigate, Sony could update their OS a bit more often with
    feedback from their fanbase.

    For me though like CosmicThought, I tend to use the Xbox One more often because most of my friends are on that platform.

    Hello, you might this support page helpful, there is a way to get your system updated offline, and for you to figure out what exactly is occurring by using the troubleshooting guide for the error code.

    The Xbox One OS updates usually roll out in waves, you will sometimes be given the option to update the OS for a day or two before being forced to update, but updates roll out to all versions of the Xbox One (original Xbox One, S and X) at the same time.

    The February update does appear to be the most current general OS release.

    It's not unusual to see small updates issued every month or so, but I don't think the release timetable is precise. Plus, due to the challenges presented by distancing requirements, I'd imagine that Microsoft (and pretty much every other company) has had
    to adjust their work processes, which may account for the incremental release void that we currently see.

    Xbox Series X disconnects from WiFi when turned off

    I’m not sure how to reach these settings, but I’m quite certain it is not an issue with my router. My series x has worked for months before now, and all other devices on the network are working, including my Xbox one and Xbox one x. I have been having this issue since roughly the time that my series x last updated, is it possible that the issue is an overlooked bug in the series x OS?
