    You will need to use the gaming services repair tool to fix the issue. As I just updated it last night (2/22/24) and the next time I went to launch the same game I had been playing for the last 12 hours prior, it would fail to properly launch and automatically shut down within 4 minutes. Or may want to send a mass email to follow the guide via: https://support.xbox.com/en-US/help/games-apps/troubleshooting/troubleshoot-games-windows-10. There was some type of validation issue from what I recall seeing that was corrected, but it was a pop-up that didn't last long and I did not get any screenshots so just from memory.

    Trying to play a game from GamePass from the Xbox App instead directs me to the Game Services page of the Microsoft store.

    I've experienced several issues trying to launch games after one of the many components is updated on my PC.

    The method below usually resolves the problems.

    1) Get latest Windows Updates

    Start Menu / Settings / Updates and Security / Check for Updates

    2) Get latest Microsoft Store Updates

    Start Menu / Microsoft Store / Library / Get Updates / Update All

    3) Reset Microsoft Store App

    Start Menu / Settings / Apps / Microsoft Store / Advanced options / Reset

    4) Restart Computer

    Xbox Preview Dashboard Not Loading

    Yes, This definitely happened post latest update. I was just on the preview dashboard app prior to the 6/23 update. Deleting the app and reinstalling does not work. Hard restart does not work. Soft restarting does not work. I've done everything other
    than a reset, which I will not do. Hopefully the next update resolves this.

    Unable to update minecraft bedrock client 1.20.41 to 1.20.5 to be able to play on realms.

    Uninstalling and re-installing Minecraft did not help since I was essentially re-installing the "latest" version for PC that wasn't the latest version needed to play on the realms. The proper Minecraft update was made available for PC one day after realms was updated.

From there, click "Get updates" and see if there is an update available for Minecraft Launcher.

    This was the original issue, in essence, the update for PC was not available on the Microsoft store until a day after the update was pushed to realms.

    The issue was the Minecraft client on the Microsoft store being updated 24 hours after the update to realms was pushed, so for 24 hours there was a mis-match in the game versions.

    Meaning for 24 hours it wasn't possible to play the game since the versions didn't match.

    The issue is fixed now that the update has been pushed to PC however I hope that in the future the update gets pushed at the same time on PC and on the realm.

    There are a couple of things you could try to resolve your issue.

    1. Make sure you have the latest version of Windows. You can check this by hitting the windows key and typing "Settings", then click on "Update and Security, then click "Windows Update".

    2. If you are using the Windows Store app to download the games try the Xbox app for PC (still in beta). https://www.microsoft.com/store/productId/9MV0B5HZVK9Z

    3. Make sure that you are logged in as the system administrator for the PC.
