Issue redeeming Day one 12 month gold membership

No. I have only 26 months of Xbox Live gold membership until 2022.04.20..

1 month in xbox one x jedi bundle, 12 months in annual membership, 12 months in redeem code, +1 bonus? month.. total 26 months..

yes I was using gold on my only account it just disappeared and was trying to invite me to get gold when I already bought a 12 month membership redeemed just weeks ago. I put my 14 day trial that came my Xbox one s bundle in code to see if it would do and
it let me do it as if I don’t already have a membership please fix this I payed 60 dollars for my 12 month membership

This is because when you change your gold subscription to gamepass ultimate, the service agreement indicates that once you subscribe to the service, you cannot go back to the previous one, that is, you can no longer have gold because you changed the service
to game pass ultimate. It also tells you that you can continue to redeem Gold memberships and they will be automatically converted to Gamepass Ultimate memberships using a conversion table.

Private chat is only a feature of the Xbox LIVE Gold membership. I'm not sure what sort of redemption code you redeemed on your account but if it was a 2 Day or 14 Day Trial gold membership those do not change your account to a gold membership, they only allow
you to play online multiplayer games in public playlists and talk in party chats.
