Issue - random people entering apex chat

I don't think it should be a requirement, there are many deaf gamers and instead of demanding a mic, more games should take the Apex route and create ways to effectively communicate without one.

I wouldn't want to have to be in a voice chat with random people I don't know just to be able to play a game.

I think this Giftcards was sent to random users, not to everyone Apex players.

I talked to a EA Agent Yesterday and in the chat he said that they said I was marked in their system to get one but I never did. I can attach the chat file.

The reason that it happens in Back 4 Blood is that I believe the game was designed like that, the developers want people to be using the "in game chat" and not "party chat" they actually want people to play the game as a team and not random people who don't communicate to each other.

There is a work around though (of sorts), in the Back 4 Blood sounds options I found an option that mutes in game chat, it doesn't help if you are in a team with two random people as you should all be working together, but it works for my group and we no longer get in game chat echoing seconds after the party chat.

Apex Legends, there is only 3 player squads so you can easily pair up with your partner and a random.
