Issue getting old account back.

I have a question that has yet to be unanswered. This all happened in about 2016, my old account EDM Angels was corrupted, so I deleted it and attempted to re-download it, but I couldn't find the email associated with the account. It seemed to have up and
disappeared, I'm almost positive I have the right email address, but the Gamertag is not on the download list whenever I put in the email address. Is there any possible solution to get the profile back if I don't somehow remember the email?

Yes. This is, BTW, a Microsoft Account issue, not an Xbox issue; the Microsoft Account support folk have their own support forum at

0) If you already have a second Microsoft Account (formerly known as the Windows Live ID) you can skip step 1 altogether

1) Make a new Microsoft Account at
http://startup.live.com which after you complete it should lead you to the Account Summary

1A) If you don't get to the Account Summary page, go to
http://Account.Live.Com and sign in there.

1B) If you are prompted to cofirm the email address, please do so.

2) Complete the security information by clicking on the Edit Security Info link below. Make sure to add the Security Question down below as well as a cellular number in the Phone Numbers field and an alternate email address which is different from the
Microsoft Account address.

3) Then, enter
http://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/?LinkID=242792 in the address bar of your browser. Fill in the form there, with the subject EMAIL BEHIND MICROSOFT ID IS BROKEN - give a good working email where their support folks can find you. You should receive a response
within a day, the gods willing.

Please visit this page here. Click Billing & Memberships, under Microsoft Account click Forgot Microsoft Account Username. You'll see a couple options select from either Chat
with Microsoft Support or Request a Call.

I’m sorry to hear you’re having trouble retrieving your Microsoft account.

Not only that, but as you don’t recall the email address, you may want to try recovering your account by submitting the account recovery form but using instead a previously linked phone number or previously created Skype username, which is not the same as our gamertag.

Besides that, I find it appropriate to mention that it is not possible to unlink a third party account from the Microsoft side of things. The process always needs to be done in the third party account linked accounts management site.

Furthermore, please refrain from sharing personal information, including email addresses, gamertags, etc.
As community users, we are not able to enter or check your account information, and everything we comment can be seen by anyone on the internet.

Unfortunately, many of those original GTs are and will remain unavailable. There is no process for having those GTs made available, nor is there any official word on whether or not they may become available again anytime soon. If you're unable to choose
that as a GT, I'm afraid you'll have to settle on something else.
