    Issue Converting From Game Pass Ultimate To Xbox Live Gold


    Early last week, I realized that my Xbox Game Pass subscription was up for renewal soon. I decided to instead just turn off recurring billing, let it expire, and use a prepaid code to purchase a year of Xbox Live Gold. My subscription ended today, but I cannot use the prepaid code because instead of cancelling the subscription, the error code I am receiving just says there was an issue receiving payment. I cannot find any way to simply cancel the subscription, so I'm hoping someone here has a solution.

    In short, once you have converted to Game Pass Ultimate, your Xbox Live Gold will be converted to Game Pass Ultimate. If you cancel, you will lose that converted Xbox Live Gold.

    Once you activated the Game Pass Ultimate your Xbox Live Gold was converted to Game Pass Ultimate time. If you cancelled Game Pass Ultimate, then you lose your Xbox Live Gold that was converted.

    If You Get Game Pass Ultimate It Will Convert Your Xbox Live Gold 1 Year Into Game Pass Ultimate For The Remaining Time Left On Your Year Subscription.     Unfortunately you would have to purchase gold again if that is what you want. Before purchasing the promotion, you are warned that whatever gold or regular game pass you have on your account will be converted to Ultimate Game Pass and cannot be converted
    back.

    details the conversion rate of days Gold left on your subscription, to days of Xbox Game Pass Ultimate.

    It also explains that when you converty you Gold, you can't then convert back from Ultimate.
