    Is XCloud worth giving a shot at?


    Hello everyone.

    I am currently away from home and will be for a couple of months without any console or windows pc, so I was considering XCloud as the best gaming alternative for me at least for the time being.

    I would be playing either on my macbook air m1, my ipad or my iphone, and after doing some research I found out that the service should work about fine (I have a college connection going with 120down 130up and 5ms ping, not sure if 5ghz tho), however what concerns me the most is the controller input lag.

    Which controller would you recommend the most? I am strongly leaning towards the official xbox controller but, in order to update it, I need a windows device and I'm not really sure I would be able to find one as easily.

    What are your controller recommendations? And also do you think playing on xcloud is worth it?

    I don't know if it helps for the recommendations, but I'd love to play Halo Infinite and Sea of Thieves, plus some other SP games such as Nier Automata and The Outer Worlds

    I think this game feels more rewarding when you get in a squad that works as a team. I love being a medic and reviving my teammates; even if I lose it feels like I have done my part for the team.
