Is XBox Support a real thing?

I have tried for more than 16 hours to get a support chat or Twitter DM, or a phone call into support.

They triple charged me for a product (Gold Live) that I am still not able to use. All the games we have continue to say I need to buy a gold live membership. But I have an active one (well 3 I guess) that I bought..

I checked all my permissions. There is nothing that is being restricted on my xbox or gamer profile. 30 minutes after a DM to Xbox twitter I got a response asking me for my gammer tag and telling my I needed to remove and add the account back on my xbox.
I did that within 3 minutes of their response and let them know it did not help. Now 2 hours later I still have no response.

I called the support hotline which I could only find in a forum post and was told that I would be called back in 39 minutes, 1 hour 30 later and no call back.

I love that their online AI system continues to tell me I am not connected to the internet while I am chatting with it and browsing the forums. I am told there is a queue of 40 people in line for chatting with a human, but as I sit at that window the chat
line grows and grows, suggesting I am not really in the queue.

It is really frustrating and I feel I have been robbed. I have paid for something (3 times in under 10 minutes -- don't they have a fraud monitoring tool? My credit card company called me about this anomaly) and i am not able to use what I have paid for.

disconnected from xbox live cannot reconnect until after testing connection

So.....xbox live support people....any real solutions or what? Is there even a real support phone # because I'm paying for a service that is dysfunctional and I'd really like to know what's wrong here...

 

I need real Xbox support.

Can anyone explain why the XBLPET staff don't disclose the actual reason why you were banned? For me they just put what seemed like a generic description in my enforcement history, which made me waste my one case review on figuring out the real reason of
my suspension. They don't even let you explain yourself in a one-on-one conversation or give you the names of people who reported you (I know, it's to protect them, but still what can I do now with the suspension?). Someone please help because finals are next
week and this suspension is really getting on my nerves.

 

Hmm After posting this, I get a call from support, and they solved issues immediately. Great support when you get it.
