    Is Xbox One X not able to handle smart TV systems?


    I had bought a Xbox One X system and had no problems using it on my TV. When I put it on a smart TV it played fine for 3 days. Now I have no picture or sound. I did all the trouble shooting remedies that the support suggests and nothing. Luckily I was able
    to trade it in for another one cause I thought it might just be that system. The second one did the same thing after 3 days. Now my daughter just called me cause her did the same thing on her smart TV. Both of my sons have one on normal TV sets and they have
    had no issues. So is the One X system not compatible with smart TV systems?

    XBOX One and Samsung Smart TV

    The wired or wireless connection is handled through your router, not the Samsung Smart TV. Samsung Smart TV has nothing to do with Xbox One. Connect the Xbox One directly to your wireless or wired router, not your Samsung Smart TV.

    TV + Xbox One X

    Hi guys,

    Sorry if this has been answered but I have a Samsung UE55JU6400K 55" 4K Ultra HD Smart TV. I only purchased it a year ago, but I am wondering will this run Xbox One X games at Native 4K or do I need to get a TV that handles HDR which I don't think mine handles. Any tech heads know?

    I have a Samsung smart TV and not had a problem with my Scorpio edition. I know this doesn't cure your issue, which I am sorry for.

    Can you give more details, TV make and specifications, are you using a surge protection power board etc. The more information the better

    I have had the same problems. Also on my second unit. The first one I tried on two different TVs and both said “No Signal”. Mine took longer than three days, more like six weeks, before crap if out. I’d be curious if you get an answer.

    Yes. Xbox One games will be backwards compatible with the Series S/X. There are also games like Valhalla and Cold War that support Smart Delivery. With Smart Delivery, you can buy the games now on the One and you'll be able to download the Series S/X version
