    I have a Xbox One S and am wondering if it will play Region A blu-ray discs.

    I am based in Australia and purchased the Xbox One S in Australia.

    No,afraid not.Xbox Ones are region locked when it comes to dvd's/blu-Ray discs.

    It would only work if the blu-ray was region free.

    Blu-Rays have always been region locked on the xbox one.

    It's only disc based games that are region free.

    Xbox Ones are region free when it comes to disc versions of games.

    It's only Blu-Ray film discs that are region locked as well as some digital content.

    it can, it may have region locks for your area but yes the xbox one can play cd, dvd, blu-ray, and if you have the x/s 4k blu ray

    If it's a disc version then yes.The xbox one is region free when it comes to games on disc.

    Blu-rays are region locked.

    The only country with region locking is China but I doubt you'll be making a quick trip there while in Florida.
