Is Xbox One Game Streaming to PC Still a Thing?

Hello Arturo,

This console option in the top left is missing from my Xbox app in Windows 10 Pro 22H2 / OS Build 19045.3803. The notification option is there however.

Please assist

Hmmm I didn't have that show up the first time I launched the app, but it was there the next time I opened the app. Maybe something got mixed up the first time I tried (it was about 3 months since I turned my Xbox One on, who know...) Thank you.

Yes, remote play is still available on Windows PC, even with the new Xbox app.

You can access the remote play feature by clicking on the console icon next to your gamertag name and then selecting your Xbox One. (see image attached)

Note: Make sure all remote play features are enabled on your console.

There are apps that allow PS5 users to stream PC games, but they still need a PC to run the game on, and then it needs to be streamed to the console, but there is no app that im aware off that would allow a Playstation to run PC games. The closest thing would be running emulators that run old PS1, SNES games etc, but nothing that can emulate a PC.

There's a couple of things you've already stated, but i'll just cover again for incase.

I suggest you have your PC and Xbox on the exact same network connection, with the same IP range and subnet range.

You need to enable game streaming on the console. under Settings > preferences > connectivity and enable game streaming.
