Is xbox one 1080p and 60fps or not?

I seriously need to know because I heard many rumors that it isnt and this is very hard to believe for a next generation 2015 console.

No, all seems quiet.... The ps4 is aiming for 1080p/60fps so the xbox should be able to do 1080p/30fps or 900p/60fps. I'm hoping for 1080p and locked solid 30fps

Xbox One can run 1080p... Forza 5 is a living example at 1080p and 60fps.

 

It wasn't released in 2015. Most games are 1080 but normally are 30fps at the moment

 

Wow it's been a long time since we've had someone try to stir this one up.

You'll struggle to run anything at 1080p since most TV's run at a higher resolution nowadays and will automatically upscale the image.

Sorry but 1080p is a last gen resolution.

You can celebrate by playing the best of last gen on your PS 4 at 1080p.

In some ways it's nice to see Sony finally catch up to Microsoft where gamers were enjoying 1080p 60fps on the XBox 360 with games like "Darkstar One".

The resolution of a game is dependant on the game engine and developer. So asking if the Xbox One is 1080p and 60 fps is off the charts stupid. It's like asking if the UFC octagon is a southpaw or orthodox fighter... or something. It can contain fighters
who use those stances... lol

Both the PS4 and Xbox One output 1080p, but a sizeable number of multi-platform games on Xbox One are 900p upscaled to 1080p, but on PS4 are native 1080p. A lot of games that launched on Xbox One at 900p have since been patched to 1080p though.

While the 360 and PS3 could both output 1080p too... very few titles actually ran at that resolution natively. Next to no titles ran at 60 fps last generation... Darkstar had terrible drops in framerate if you blew a ship up in front of you and enjoyed the
light show. FPS is the important part for some games. Racing and shooters mostly.

Regardless, people who think they can look at a game and confidently tell you what resolution it is running at... are mildly deluded. Factors like how far a person is away from the screen, size of the screen, even a person's eye sight come into play. Hell
some people don't even set up their stuff properly sometimes and can be playing at lower resolutions without even noticing.

We're seeing more and more games with dynamic resolutions and consistent 60 fps framerates on both PS4 and Xbox One. Wolfenstein, [post-patch for X1] Destiny, Halo 5... the upcoming DOOM. So if you see somebody talking about knowing the resolution with those
games... they've mastered the art of talking out of their butthole, as the resolution will be changing as their butthole mouth is moving. Pffheh ha. {=D

 

You can also play the very best of this gen on it or did you not know that games like MGSV, Witcher 3, Batman AK, Shadow of Mordor etc are on PS4? As for 1080p gaming on 360, there were a total of 6 games that ran in true 1080p on that console compared to 31
on PS3, but you knew that right?

 

I own a PS1 and PS2 and had a PS3 but sold it right away after Socom Confrontation bombed horribly. Since Sony killed off Socom franchise. Sony lost a beat in the shooters market. Also rather be on XBOX LIVE then the Sony network. Yeah PS4 has more power
under the hood but need the games to keep ya happy as well.

 

So wow, everytime I watch bill gate blogs on xbox he always mention the popular games like forza to be at 1080p and 60fps

 

Both struggle to get 1080P. How PS4 do it. but shutting off shadowing in the game. But next gen will in sure will handle it better then this gen. Because they most likely used DRR4 for ram memory. That faster then what each of them have this gen.

 

The new Doom will be 1080p and 60fps across all platforms. It just depends on the developer and how good they are. Some PS4 games that are 1080p don't run as good as a 900p games on X1. The Witcher 3 is said to be better on X1 as well as AC Unity and I've
heard the same about GTA 5. Not always the case but sometimes performance needs to take a hit because people put too much stock in the whole 1080p thing.

 

So bill gates brag about resolution for nothing?

I expected more from the xbox one and why is the new halo even harder than the previous ones?
