Is xbox live really worth the money

Simple question really

Reason I ask is important beginning to think that it's a total waste of my time and effort.

After forking out for a xbox one is have to say I'm extremely disappointed in my current service from you Microsoft.

Love to see how many haters I get from this post

Is Xbox One really worth the money?????

There are things to fix but overall I love it. I had a look at some of the playstation 4 reviews and walkthroughs online and I know that I made the right choice. Apparently a lot of duelshock 4 controllers are having issues i.e. breaking already.

I mainly play games online which most of them if not all require live to play. $60.00 a year seems like a fair offer to me, and you can occasionally *** some $40-50 yearly sub cards on Newegg from time to time. So if you play a lot of online games then absolutely,
if you don't then no.

Now in terms of apps and what not, I am not sure if it is worth it if you don't game online much.

I guess I've been lucky so far. No problems. Everything works. Just need proper dlna, & I'll be great. Pushing music or video via bubble upnp on my phone now, but can't be played in the background. Only full or snapped.

That's an opinion. I prefer the XB1 controller. It feels better in my hands and the internal battery compartment is welcome plus the sticks grip better and the triggers and bumpers are easier to use.

i am here cuz i also have X1 and its so boring - its like a shell of Xbox 360... Setttings have only a few options.... customization is non existent and there is this ugly Windows 8 interface.... .Killer instinct and DR 3 look mediocre ( not the true stunning
HD i play on PS4) . kinect is 50 % accurate and controller is nothing special () not a step up for sure).Maybe with time ( which might take a year or 2) it ll start shaping up - but for now i spend waaaay more time on PS 4 and barely touch KI and DR 3. IMO
atm totally not worth $500 +

My new xbox one costs less than my phone and all I do is text and call on my phone, is my phone worth the money ? Probably not but my Xbox is definitely worth the money.
